simple way to explain that is a cup with ice tea on a warm day .. cup is cold and water in the air sticks to the outside of the cup .. same happens with that cold coil inside your home when the warmer air is passed over it

I meant to say the very basic princibles of it are right on the money. They have the heat exchanger right inside the room? Hows that work?

Air conditioning. The greatest luxury.

The reason your ac has a pipe that throws water.Your ac is a dehumidafier which pulls humidity from the air in your house when that warm ar hits that coold indoor coil it creates condensation which collects in a drain pan under neeth the ac coils which in turn drain out the pvc condensation pipe leading out of your house.

and why my aircondition has a pipe that throws water…?

slaterking1000

These work like computer water cooling systems, what he sed was wrong in some aspects. All it does is cold water gets pushes around the house. The fan cools it down.

stoopid graphic. it shows the condenser in red as he talks about evaporation, then shows the evaporator in blue as he talks about condensation.

guess this this designed to fool the unwary.

The stupidity of this video is the gift that keeps on giving. It is my own fault for hoping that this moron might respond in a timely manner. I give up.

Stupid is as stupid does. Run Forrest, run!

PutSome5tankOnIt

This video is an embarrassment to the HVAC industry. That goober needs to shut his pie-hole and quit pretending he knows squat about refrigeration.

it requiers some modification to the "A-coil" on top of the furnace, but to anyone with solderin skills, its easy.

hmm, how many of you have a chest type freezer running in your basement/where ever, running at 0 to -5degrees? i do, and thats how i cool my home plus keeping my extra food frozen. the concept is there, just figuering out the dynamics of it is what i have done for the past 2 years during the cooling season. now i cool my home(1500sqf) for 1/2 the cost of running that dang noisy compresser outside.

this is very erronous….CONDENSATION first and then CONVECTION must occur for air conditioning to work effectively.

This video was made by a guy who is completely ignorant of the concept of refrigeration/air conditioning.

The concept is and always has been the removal of heat. Even in old turn of the century air conditioners they would bring blocks of ice and air would blow across them and the ice would absorb the heat (thermodynamics) and melt and the heat would be carried out in the water down the drain.

There is no such scientific thing as cold air, just air with less heat.
