Free Energy:
Yes, the sun's energy is free. However, the equipment to harness this "free energy" still remains quite pricy. To date most solar energy systems are only in reach of even the well to do because of government grants paying a part of the cost.
Also, some question the true gain of "free energy" cost to the planet when all the costs to design, develop manufacture, transport, install ect. are taken into account.
FYI: Do not get me wrong. I hope 2 1 day be able 2 afford a PV system.

nice ad… however, I still fail to understand why people have the overpowering urge to say "hot water heater". To this day, I have never bothered heating water that was already hot.
